Our Development ProcessAt Vision Multimedia we use a tested and proven process to determine your goals and objectives for designing or redesigning your virtual dealership. By following our 8 step process we are able to get you up and running in an efficient and expeditious manner, while keeping you involved every step of the way. Step 1 : Initial Discovery and ConsultationDuring step one of the web design process, we will discuss your requirements and target audience to determine the objectives of your website. What are your lead generation expectations? Is this an online tool for your clients? How will we engage your prospects to compel them into the showroom? We like to plan ahead and get the details. How are we going to define the goals of your new virtual dealership? Step 2 : Research and Site Map CreationIn this stip of the web design process, we are researching your target market and competition. We need to determine how your dealership amenities will be made available to the site visitors what is the path of least resistance from new your website into your “brick and mortar” dealership. We will build an illustrated map of your website structure so that we can determine both the needed technology and site usability. Step 3 : Content Creation and Initial DesignIn step 3 we develop the graphics and initial design for the site. We will discuss with you what text and graphics need to be provided for the web site and setup a time line for asset acquisition. This will tell us where we need more copy, images or information for the site. Once you are satisfied with the direction of the project, we will complete the graphical elements, and produce additional keyword rich web copy, graphic design or animated flash elements for the site. Step 4 : Dynamic Development and IntegrationThe amount of dynamic content needed varies from site to site. Implementation of the FMCDealer auto gallery in the site structure will establish the foundation for all site functionality. Email acquisition, dynamic news content, and additional programming will be integrated in this step. All features will be built and thoroughly tested before deployment. Step 5 : Pre-Launch EvaluationAfter the site is built, our team and yours will have complete access to all content to be sure everything is exactly as anticipated. You may submit any desired changes to the copy and navigational structure prior to final approval before the site goes live. Step 6 : Site LaunchAfter you give the go ahead, and we receive final payment, your new virtual dealership will be published to the web. Step 7 : Marketing and Ongoing Support OptionsNow that we're up and running, our job of web design may be complete, but our relationship together is just beginning. To keep your site fresh we must keep your site current in terms of graphics, navigation, technology and usability. After release of the site, we will work with you to establish a regular review and maintenance schedule for your web site to accommodate client requests, user feedback, system upgrades and emerging web technologies. We will also discuss our marketing services for getting the word out on your new virtual dealership. This may sound like a lot of work, and it is. But the fact is that your new business asset will pay off in spades. A properly designed custom web presence will attract, compel, convert and retain a loyal user base; and that's exactly what you'll get. |
